This short-term living space is based on the conceptual placement of a fountain at its center. The water from the source collects in the central reservoir, which serves as the core element, around which the other essential functions of the space are organized. The reservoir is 80 cm deep, aligning with the height of the bed, which appears to float freely above the water’s surface. The autonomy of the ruin, centered around the fountain, evokes an instinctive human presence.
It may be described as a totem, a sacred altar, or a shrine, yet as a ruin, it remains free from limiting concepts and symbolic constraints.
The “Omega Plan” is executed only when all alternative plans – Plan A, Plan B, etc. – have been exhausted.
It also metaphorically reflects movement within the room as shaped by the last letter of the alphabet.
